When my daughter was in high school, one of the highlights of the year was Christmas, when her extremely talented, gifted, generous and greatly appreciated friend Carly made her friends platters of delicious cookies decorated with colorful cellophane wrapping. I know that this year, our family will be looking for ways to show our friends and family how much we appreciate them, and I think that i will be following Carly’s example, and putting my baking skills to the test. i may even splurge a little to buy some specialty cookies to add a little flair. What ways will you be looking to spread holiday cheer this year without breaking your budget?
