Nerdism: A heriditary trait?

Dear Family,

As you can see, our youngest child is following in her family footsteps.  First thing this morning, she had to help ‘lil Bubba play SuperSmash Brothers Melee.  She sure thinks she knows what she is doing, working the joystick and smashing the “A” button for all she is worth.  After that, she crawled over to the PS3 and got the microphone and started singing.  Never mind the fact that GuitarHero wasn’t on, she doesn’t need that to sing anyway!

I guess the poor child is cursed, as you will, by a family of game loving nerds.  Her big Bubba and I are WOW nerds, and her dad is all about SoCom and Guitar Hero.  ‘Lil Bubba is all about Game Cube, and we all get together and play Guitar Hero and Mario Party.  Anytime we play, Rach needs to have her controller too.  Do not worry!  We also read, do legos, swim and play with “stuff.”  So Grandma, if you are reading this… You do not need to call tonight with warnings about raising a well rounded child.

Love,

DoozieMom
